Well, it’s finally here. Our first look at Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. After waiting for what felt like forever, Lucasfilm pulled the lid back tonight, and not a moment too soon. The studio used the Super Bowl to premiere a brief but intriguing teaser trailer for the spinoff and though it wasn’t much, it’s definitely got people buzzing for tomorrow morning’s main course.

Until that arrives though – and it won’t be long, given it’s pegged for a debut on Good Morning America – we’ve got some photos to feast on which take us closer to the pic. Admittedly, they’re hardly the best quality as they’re just screenshots pulled from the footage we already saw, but if you’re hungry for anything and everything Solo, which you just might be given the drought that’s surrounded it up until now, they should do the trick.

From Emilia Clarke’s mysterious Qi’Ra and her droid companion to Donald Glover as Lando and, of course, the titular smuggler himself (who only showed up very briefly in the preview), these images will help you relive everything that Lucasfilm gave us and should keep you going until tomorrow’s big reveal.

Speaking of which, in the past, GMA debuts have occurred between 8:30-9am EST, and it’s expected that this one will be no different. So, not too much longer to go now before we get a proper trailer, but in the meantime. we’re certainly intrigued by what we’ve seen tonight. The vibe from this first bit of footage reminds us of Rogue One, while the grittier aesthetic promises a dark and dangerous ride to come.

It certainly has all the makings of a rip-roaring adventure, but will Ron Howard and co. be able to pull through and deliver another thrilling Anthology movie? One that will satisfy viewers in the same way that the aforementioned Rogue One did? Well, that remains to be seen, but we’ll have a much better idea of what to expect by Monday morning, after we’ve finally laid eyes on the full preview for Solo: A Star Wars Story.
