Star Wars: The Last Jedi Deleted Scene Titles Hint At What To Expect

Much has been said about the deleted scenes of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In order to fine-tune the theatrical cut as much as possible, director Rian Johnson was pretty ruthless with what he removed from the movie. He’s already teased that some major scenes were left on the cutting room floor, too, including a significant moment for Rey.

Thankfully, we’ll soon get to see some of these excised sequences, as it’s been announced that the film’s Blu-Ray release will come with a whopping 2 hours of additional footage (that includes all special features, from what we understand). As for what these scenes could consist of, though, a lot of that remains a mystery, but the titles of them have now been revealed, giving us at least some sort of idea of what to expect.

As you can see below, there will be 14 in total, and while it’s hard to say exactly what all of them will involve, some of the titles do match up with what we’ve heard about in various interviews and whatnot. There doesn’t seem to be anything here that will drastically alter how we view the film, but for those eager to see what Johnson left on the cutting room floor, there should be enough to dig into with what’s on offer.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits home video on March 27th (pre-order here), while those partial to digital copies will be able to pick up Rian Johnson’s stellar sequel from March 13th.

Elsewhere in that far-away galaxy, Lucasfilm currently has all hands at the pump in anticipation of Solo: A Star Wars Story. It’s said to be an engrossing origin story that treads the line between heist and Western, and we’ll be able to see if Ron Howard’s anthology pic is up to the task on May 25th.
