Rob Zombie Adds Dee Wallace To The Cast Of 3 From Hell

Taking to Instagram, director Rob Zombie has announced the casting of Dee Wallace for his long-in-development horror flick, 3 From Hell.

To say that Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell has hit the ground running would be to deal in wild understatement.

In the past week alone, we’ve learned that the sequel to The Devil’s Rejects has entered production with Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding) in tow, before Zombie announced the addition of Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13). They join Bill Moseley and Sheri Moon Zombie on the starry line-up, but it seems there’s still room for one more, as Rob Zombie has taken to Instagram (h/t Bloody Disgusting) to confirm that Dee Wallace (E.T., The Howling and Cujo) has rounded out the cast.

Details of her role in 3 From Hell are being kept firmly under lock and key, but horror fans will know that Wallace, a true legend of the industry, previously worked with Zombie on The Lords of Salem back in 2012. Now, almost six years later, the duo are prepped and ready to collaborate once more.

Dee Wallace in 3 From Hell

And so, after House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects – two cult favorites of the horror genre – Rob Zombie is ready to close out his trilogy with 3 From Hell. It’ll spell the return of Captain Spaulding, Otis Driftwood and Vera-Ellen “Baby” Firefly, who were last seen in the midst of a tense police shootout back in 2005. But after 13 long, long years on the sidelines, Zombie’s ragtag trio are all set to stage their comeback. And we couldn’t be more excited.

Also starring Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie and Austin Stoker, 3 From Hell is currently lensing under the watchful eye of Rob Zombie and his team, which tells us that a late 2018 release date may be on the cards.
