Since 2009’s release of No Line On The Horizon, U2 has been hard at work, very hard at work. The band is currently working on three new albums. They’re not alone though, helping the band out are three fellow artists, Danger Mouse, Will.i.am and David Guetta.

U2 has already revealed a few new tracks which you can check out here and here, but now we have news that they’re working on three full albums, not just a couple tracks. The first album is a collaboration with Danger Mouse.

Speaking about the album, Bono said the following:

“We have about 12 songs with him,” says Bono. “At the moment that looks like the album we will put out next because it’s just happening so easily.”

The second album is a club record according to Bono. He says that it will recall ” “U2’s remixes in the 1990s.” The band is working with Will.i.am and David Guetta on the album.

Lastly, their third album will consist of the music that Bono and Edge wrote for the Broadway musical, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

So there you have it, three upcoming albums from one of the world’s best bands. It sure is a good time to be a U2 fan.
