Chris Pratt Hails Avengers: Infinity War As The “Biggest Movie Of All Time”

Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt, has weighed in on Avengers: Infinity War, a crossover he believes to be the biggest movie of all time.

Avengers: Infinity War is on the verge of becoming the “biggest movie of all time.” Or so says Chris Pratt.

The Star-Lord actor took to Instagram late last night to honor Empire’s recent coverage of the Marvel event movie – there are seven covers in total, with one particularly striking subscriber-only spread being dedicated to Thanos – while also taking a moment to reflect on what he considers to be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Because even after two movies featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity War is undoubtedly Chris Pratt’s biggest Marvel gig to date. And it’ll be followed in quick succession by the super-secret Avengers 4 in 2019. But here, the former Parks and Recreation actor champions Avengers: Infinity War as something truly special.

Empire is right! So grateful to be part of #Marvel’s 10 year cinematic reign. James Gunn called me last night floored after having seen the movie. I expected no less. I can’t wait until I’m parked in front of the screen popcorn in hand. I’m so excited for the world to see what we’ve been cooking up. I’m honored to be a part of what will be the biggest movie of all time.

He wasn’t the only member of Infinity War‘s super-sized cast to acknowledge the Empire covers; earlier this week, Scarlet Witch herself, Elizabeth Olsen, called out the outlet’s Photoshop skills after her Wanda Maximoff appeared…off.

It’s a clueless tactic which typically results in warped facial features that look like they belong in a Madame Tussauds wax museum. And, sadly, that was very much the case with Olsen’s cover. Because just like Entertainment Weekly’s own spread for Spider-Man: Homecoming, this Photoshop job sucks the life out of Elizabeth Olsen’s Avenger – so much so, in fact, that she looks more like a mannequin than anything else.

In more positive news, we are now exactly five weeks out from the release of Avengers: Infinity War, and we can readily expect Joe and Anthony Russo’s crossover to have a knock-on effect on both Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Brie Larson-fronted Captain Marvel movie. Which almost goes without saying, really.
