Just when you think Rob Zombie has completed his casting spree for 3 From Hell – which, for those who don’t know, is the in-development sequel to The Devil’s Rejects – he adds yet another familiar face. Case in point: earlier this morning, we learned of Danny Trejo’s involvement and now, Bloody-Disgusting brings word that Pancho Moler, who played Sick-Head in Zombie’s 31, has climbed on board as well in an undisclosed role.

Elsewhere on the casting docket, the director’s called upon many of his other usual collaborators – and a few new faces – to help round things out, including Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), The Howling and Cujo‘s Dee Wallace, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Daniel Roebuck of Halloween fame, the latter of whom will be reprising his Devil’s Rejects role of Morris Green, Ruggsville’s number-one TV personality.

Of course, they’ll all join the three lead stars, those being Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding), Bill Moseley (Otis) and Sheri Moon Zombie (Baby), who captured the imagination of horror fans the world over with their performances across both House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.

After those two aforementioned films – two cult favorites of the horror genre, might we add – Rob Zombie is now ready to close out his trilogy with 3 From Hell. How it’ll deal with the return of Spaulding, Otis and Baby, who were last seen being shot dead in the midst of a tense police shootout back in 2005 – we don’t know, but we’re certainly excited to find out.

Still no word of a concrete release date for the pic, but fans of Zombie’s eccentric oeuvre can go on enjoying updates from the Firefly Family, safe in the knowledge that 3 From Hell is beginning to take shape under the watchful eye of the always exciting director.
