Just when you think Rob Zombie has completed his casting spree for 3 From Hell – which, for those who don’t know, is the in-development sequel to The Devil’s Rejects – he adds yet another familiar face. This time, it’s Richard Riehle, who you may recognize from his role as Jim Permatteo in Hatchet but who’s also worked with Zombie on Halloween II, where he played Buddy the Night Watchman.

And so, following the back-to-back addition of Pancho Moler (31) and Machete star Danny Trejo3 From Hell‘s casting docket is now full – or so it seems – boasting Riehle, Clint Howard, whose Mr. Baggy Britches is all set to become the second tortured clown of Ruggsville, Austin Stoker (Assault on Precinct 13), Dee Wallace (The Howling, Cujo), Jeff Daniel Phillips (Halloween II), Dot-Marie Jones (American Horror Story) and Tom Papa, (who’s perhaps best known as El Superbeasto). David Ury, whose was seen as Schizo-Head in Zombie’s 31, also stars.

Of course, they’ll all join the film’s three leads, those being Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding), Bill Moseley (Otis) and Sheri Moon Zombie (Baby), who captured the imagination of horror fans the world over with their performances across both House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects.

After those two aforementioned pics – two cult favorites of the horror genre, might we add – Rob Zombie’s now ready to close out his beloved trilogy. How he’ll deal with the return of Spaulding, Otis and Baby, who were last seen being shot dead in the midst of an intense police shootout back in 2005 – we don’t know, but we’re certainly excited to find out.

In the meantime, we’ll be sure to bring you all the latest on 3 From Hell as the project continues to come together. It sounds like things are moving pretty quickly, too, so with any luck, we might just get a trailer or some official stills soon. Stay tuned!
