The Council Of Wells Is Back In New Synopsis For The Flash

The group of Harrison Wells from across the Multiverse are set to return in the upcoming 21st episode of The Flash season 4.

As The Flash gears up for the grand finale of its fourth season, it looks like an upcoming episode will take the chance to look back and celebrate a couple of new additions to the show from its current run. Namely, Katie Sackhoff’s villain Amunet Black and the Council of Wells.

At least, that’s what’s revealed in this new synopsis for the upcoming 20th episode of the season, to be punningly-titled “Harry and the Harrisons.”

THE TEAM TURNS TO AMUNET BLACK FOR HELP — With DeVoe’s Enlightenment device nearly complete, in order to disable it The Flash (Grant Gustin) and his team must put their faith in an unlikely ally – Amunet Black (guest star Kattee Sackhoff). Meanwhile, Harry (Tom Cavanagh) hits an all-time low when the “Council of Wells” kicks him out but then Cisco (Carlos Valdes) introduces him to the “Council of Harrisons.” Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Lauren Certo (#421).

The Battlestar Galactica actress first appeared on The CW superhero show as the strangely-accented magnetic meta-human in episode 4×05, “Girls Night Out” and has popped up three times since then. On this occasion, it appears that Team Flash are desperate enough to join forces with the known crime lord. Perhaps her knack for controlling metal will come in handy in defeating Clifford DeVoe, who will apparently be in the final stages of building his Enlightenment device by this point.

The Council of Wells, meanwhile, is the result of Harry’s attempt to unite the various Wells out there in the Multiverse so that they might put their genius minds together for good use. The first time we met the group, in episode 4×06 “When Harry Met Harry,” the Council consisted of the German Harrison Wolfgang Wells, the Hugh Hefner-like H. Lothario Wells and finally, the Mad Max-like cyborg Wells 2.0. It seems that the world’s in need of their smarts again, now that The Thinker is so close to achieving his goals.

“Harry and the Harrisons” arrives on May 8th. In the meantime, The Flash continues next week with episode 4×19, titled “Fury Rogue,” which sees the return of Wentworth Miller’s Citizen Cold. Catch it Tuesday on The CW.
