Flanked by the loyal and fearless warriors that make up the Dora Milaje, Black Panther walks out to greet Wakanda’s new arrivals in this all-new clip for Avengers: Infinity War.

Indeed, if you’ve been paying close attention to the sequel’s trailer campaign hitherto, you’ll notice that this scene takes place just before a bumbling Bruce Banner emerges from the Quinjet – presumably still reeling from the events of Thor: Ragnarok and his intergalactic clash with Thanos – only to bow before T’Challa. Suffice it to say, Banner still needs to work on those social skills.

At the center of today’s new clip is Okoye, leader of the Dora Milaje who will once again be brought to life by Danai Gurira of The Walking Dead. She’s by no means the only Black Panther star returning for Avengers: Infinity War, as we recently learned that Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke) and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) will all be returning for what is undoubtedly Marvel’s biggest movie yet. And at least based on early reactions, it looks as though Joe and Anthony Russo have achieved the impossible and delivered on all our expectations.

Of course, we’ll have to wait until we see Avengers: Infinity War with our own two eyes before we can get a better reading on the Herculean crossover, but with the official review embargo set to lift later this evening, it shouldn’t be too much longer before the critics have their say.

Because with only three days remaining until Infinity War‘s launch in North America, the excitement is palpable – not least because it’s said to include Stan Lee’s best Marvel cameo to date. Or so says Lee…
