Just yesterday, Captain America himself, Chris Evans, took to Twitter to wish his Infinity War co-star Chris Pratt a happy birthday in the most hilarious way – he captured a crude shot of his dog urinating on a local Star-Lord shrine.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actor, who will be back on our screens very soon no thanks to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (our review), responded with a Tweet of his own, telling Evans that he’ll soon be hearing from his lawyers. It’s all tongue-in-cheek, of course, but what better way to celebrate your 39th birthday than to have your friend’s dog pee all over your Star-Lord themed water hydrant?

The Twitter exchange can be enjoyed in full after the following MCU-themed gallery…

So while the two actors are yet to cross paths in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Star-Lord spent much of his journey in the cosmos, while Captain America was among those defending Wakanda – it’s clear Chris Evans and Chris Pratt have forged their own friendship in real-life.

Once Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes and goes, and Marvel fans have flocked to see Ant-Man and the Wasp, the MCU will pump out Captain Marvel and the long-anticipated Avengers 4 within the space of two months, meaning 2019 is really shaping up to be a banner year for the folks at Marvel Studios.

Whether Joe and Anthony Russo can deliver on those sky-high expectations is another question entirely, but one thing’s for sure: the MCU will never be the same once Avengers 4 has staged its grand debut.
