First Ant-Man And The Wasp Reactions Call It Crazy Fun And A Total Blast

Naturally, most of what we’ve heard regarding, Ant-Man and the Wasp, has been just that, hearsay. Thankfully, then, Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, provided some clarity on the Peyton Reed-directed flick yesterday. The producing vet of twenty years revealed that not only will the twentieth entry into the highest grossing franchise of all-time connect Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) “directly to Avengers 4,” but the titular characters will also be “very important” to the MCU “going forward.”

Well then, what could be better than insight straight from the horse’s mouth? Initial reactions to Ant-Man and the Wasp, of course. You heard right, feedback on the diminutive hero’s second feature has made its way onto the Twittersphere, and it’s overwhelmingly positive!

Now, typically, an advance screening like this would call for caution, as more than likely, it’d be fans, not critics reacting. However, there are some reasonably trustworthy individuals posting about Ant-Man and the Wasp, and they’re deeming it “crazy fun,” a “total blast,” and “funny AF.” So, with that in mind, check out a few of our favorite pieces of feedback below.

Set to bridge the gap between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp will be infesting your local multiplex in just two weeks time. And although it’ll come nowhere near the opening weekend tally put up by the aforementioned supergroup installment ($257M), or Black Panther ($202M) for that matter, early tracking has the Peyton Reed-directed flick debuting in the ballpark of $75 million stateside.

It’s a figure notably higher than that of the original Ant-Man ($57M) and one that should certainly please Kevin Feige and co. as they prepare to end off the year on a high note with their third and final release.
