It’s currently on course for a release in January of 2019, and ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, Shyamalan has shared the official first teaser poster for his trilogy-capper, and it draws our attention to those three superpowered individuals: David Dunn (Bruce Willis) the frail-bodied mastermind Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) and James McAvoy’s bat-shit insane character who has more personalities than we can count – Dennis, Barry, Patricia… and each is more unhinged and sociopathic than the last.

Exactly how their paths cross remains to be seen, but we can at least take solace in the fact that Glass will be present at SDCC next month, where M. Night Shyamalan hopes to reveal a surprise – such is the Shyamalan way. To encourage excitement for his thrilling threequel, the director also shared the movie’s creepy first poster, which you can find below.

I’m so excited to tell you that Glass will be at [San Diego] Comic-Con. I will be in Hall H on July 20th with the cast! You can expect a surprise as well. But if you need your Glas Movie fix before July 20th, here’s the world premiere of our teaser poster.

Not unlike Legion and Netflix’s Defenders miniseries, the first Glass one-sheet uses different shades of color to subtly distinguish its superpowered individuals from one and other. A poster reveal is also a telling sign that a film’s first trailer is on the horizon, so perhaps that’s what Shyamalan is referring to when he says that he has a surprise up his sleeve for SDCC 2018.

Keep your peepers peeled and remember, Glass closes the book on the director’s eclectic superhero series on January 18th.
