But what about the little guys of the MCU? Those supporting characters that might not wear costumes or possess special powers, but they steal a scene all the same. Not all heroes wear capes, after all.

Take the Galaga Guy, for example. As seen back in The Avengers, Tony Stark accused this background S.H.I.E.L.D. agent of playing Galaga while no one was looking. Sure enough, the billionaire playboy philanthropist was proven right. Now, one fan – namely Satan Boyy – has created a mock character poster for him sporting the tagline: “More than a gamer.”

You can check it out down in the gallery below along with a few other parodies and, of course, the originals.

While a fun little design, we should also think of this as an epitaph for the character, as Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo recently had some bad news for fans of this one-scene wonder. When asked to reveal the fate of a few of the folks who weren’t in the movie, the filmmakers dropped the bombshell that Galaga Guy was part of the half of the universe that was wiped out by Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet.

“[He] got snapped in the middle of a Galaga game,” Joe Russo half-jonkingly announced during an interview with Uproxx. “He was seconds away from his all-time high score.”

Other unfortunate victims of the Mad Titan, at least according to the Russos, include the Thor franchise’s Lady Sif, The Incredible Hulk‘s Betty Ross and even Matt Damon’s Asgardian actor, the one who played Loki in RagnarokAny Marvel lovers who are fans of Howard the Duck, Aunt May and Nakia from Black Panther can rest easy, though, as they’re all still alive.
