Breakdowns For Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 Unveil The New Agents

That Hashtag Show has unearthed a series of character breakdowns for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6, teasing mercenaries and a host of new faces.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6 is but a teeny-tiny speck on the horizon at this point, but that hasn’t steemed excitement for what should be a memorable installment of ABC’s superhero drama.

Comprised of 13 episodes in total – down from the usual lot of 22 – filming on S.H.I.E.L.D.’s sixth season is expected to commence this Friday, July 20th, and That Hashtag Show has now uncovered the first scraps of story intel to keep us ticking over.

The outlet claims that season 6 will herald the introduction of five – count ’em, five – new additions to the ensemble cast, who will either fight alongside our agents or cause them a whole lot of trouble.

Up first is a 30-year-old character named Jaco, a “silent mercenary who has both brains and brawn.” His intelligence is immediately apparent anytime he opens his mouth. He’ll be joined by fellow mercenary Pax, a younger, 20s-something hired gun who’s said to boast a “humorous streak” similar to that of Lancer Hunter. Perhaps he’ll help fill the void left by everyone’s favorite agent?

Other new recruits include a female character known only as Butterfly, whose erratic personality traits ought to place our agents on red alert – That Hashtag Show warns us that Butterfly is “unpredictable, aloof, spacey, but nonetheless lethal.”

She’s purportedly scheduled to be a recurring guest star all throughout season 6 – ditto for flawed genius Professor L, who’s described as a “brilliant teacher in his 60s who has a positive outlook on humanity but at the same time is disgruntled, bitter, and a mess of a person outside.” And finally, we have a handsome new SHIELD soldier named Agent Damon.

As things stand, the sixth (and potentially final?) season of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on course for a premiere in the summer of 2019.
