Battlefield 3 is sounding like a monstrous game, with some very impressive technology under its hood. There’s a lengthy single player campaign as well as an explosive multiplayer mode, which is probably the title’s biggest draw.
Although DICE has been quiet in regards to this news, rumours are circulating stating that the XBOX 360 version of the game may ship on two DVDs. This was sparked by a snapshot taken of a Battlefield 3 retail poster found in Japan, which is posted above. If you look close enough, it’s hard not to miss the fact that it says DVD-ROM x2 under the listing for the XBOX 360 version.
I must say that this doesn’t come as much of a surprise, considering how big the game is. Not to mention the data that accompanies such amazing looking visuals. Though, since DICE and Electronic Arts have yet to confirm this news, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s still a rumour. However, it’s one rumour that certainly has some reason and potential proof behind it.
