The star of Billy Batson’s DCEU debut was in attendance at last weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con, where the actor known for Chuck and the Thor movies seemed primed to take on Dwayne Johnson’s rendition of Black Adam, as well as following in the footsteps of the Caped Crusader by taking on the Man of Steel himself.

“Hell yeah man! I would love for Shazam! and Black Adam to go head to head, I would love that,” Levi said. “And I would love for like Shazam! and Superman to go head to head because in the comic books those have been some iconic fights. You know there’s so many cool things we could with the character, but one movie at a time, I’m just so stoked that we’re here right now. That we made the movie, we got through that winter in Toronto. These talented young fools are just going to continue to take over the world and I’m just going to hang onto their coattails.”

While there’s always a chance that we’ll see such spandex-heavy spectacles in those Shazam! sequels that Warner is apparently planning, first Billy will be facing off against Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, played by a typically villainous Mark Strong. Director David F. Sandberg recently spoke of the Sherlock Holmes and Kick-Ass actor’s passion for the role, too, while elaborating a little on what to expect from Shazam’s first major foe.

“Mark Strong loves being a bad guy. And it’s not just him, really, it’s… something else … that lent him his powers … he can do some things that Shazam can’t. The danger in some films is the bad guy has the same powers as the good guy. [Sivana] has an extra thing, extra dynamic, that takes care of that….”

We’ll find out just what that extra thing is when Shazam! lands in theaters on April 5th, 2019.
