The prolific actress, who initially shot to fame via Suicide Squad and The Wolf of Wall Street, has climbed aboard Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as Sharon Tate, one of five people killed by the Manson Family almost 50 years ago.

And now that filming has begun, Robbie took to Instagram to share our first peek at her doomed actress dressed in ’60s garb. She’s just one of the big-name stars attached to QT’s ninth feature film, which is said to be a Pulp Fiction-esque tapestry of stories woven around Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). The former is a washed-up Western TV star struggling to make it in a Hollywood he doesn’t recognize anymore, while the other is his long-time stunt double who has fallen on hard times, too.

To make matters worse, their very famous next-door neighbor just so happens to be Sharon Tate herself…

Rooted in Los Angeles during the summer of 1969, we know the infamous Charles Manson will only feature briefly – think of Adolf Hitler’s limited screentime during Inglorious Basterds – as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is seemingly more concerned with the drama between Rick Dalton and his struggling stunt double.

Elsewhere on QT’s mega-cast list are Timothy Olyphant, Al Pacino, Burt Reynolds, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch and Nicholas Hammond.

Once scheduled for August 9th, 2019, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will officially beckon viewers to Tinsel Town on July 26th.
