The Hunt Grows Bigger On Awesome New Poster For The Predator

Having finally reached the next evolutionary stage, 20th Century Fox has wasted no time in ramping up the marketing campaign for The Predator, and rightfully so.

After all, we’ve spent the better part of a decade waiting for the Jim and John Thomas-created extraterrestrial killing machine to get another chance at a proper sequel, and going off what we’ve seen thus far, it sure looks like Shane Black will be the one to deliver all of the “genre sh*t” we’ve come to expect from the franchise. I mean, considering the fact that he witnessed the titular monster wreak havoc firsthand back in 1987, there really isn’t a more suitable man for the job.

And so, as we quickly approach the film’s release, Fox has now debuted an awesome new poster. Seen in the gallery down below, it tells us that the hunt has grown bigger, while also promoting the fact that you’ll be able to catch The Predator in IMAX next month – which is definitely the way to see it.

So yes, the hunt, as they say, has most definitely evolved. Of course, The Predator isn’t the only recent action film to be headlined by an impossibly-sized creature – giant shark thriller The Meg gave us Jason Statham going up against a prehistoric megalodon. But with its gory action and crude one-liners (such is the Shane Black way), it almost goes without saying that Fox’s revival is a totally different kettle of fish.

“I think you know what’s on the ship…the ultimate Predators.” Shane Black and his ragtag crew of rangers go big-game hunting when The Predator opens nationwide on September 14th. The only question that remains, is, will you be seeing it? As always, let us know by dropping a comment down below.
