Olivia Wilde is one of the busiest actress around right now. The actress, who has shot to fame over the past 18 months in films like Cowboys & Aliens and The Change Up, has signed on to yet another project, The Longest Week.

Variety reports that the independent comedy, which is reportedly being budgeted at under $5 million, is being written and directed by Peter Glanz.

The Longest Week is based on a Peter Glanz black-and-white short called A Relationship in Four Days, which screened at Hamptons Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival in 2008, and will be the director’s first feature length directional debut.

The Longest Week is described as the story of Conrad Valmont, a wealthy and aimless man who lives in his parents’ prestigious Manhattan hotel. However, in just one week, he’s evicted, disinherited and in love.

Wilde will play the female lead, however no other details are known about the role, but with her current choics of projects, one would have to think the role is good one.

Wilde currently has four films (In Time, Blackbird, Welcome To People and The Words) which all due for release within the next 12 months. If you’re not familiar with her, you will be shortly.
