Sony’s animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will introduce Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man, to moviegoing audiences for the first time. And, as the title teases, it’ll add a whole lot of other alternate web-slingers into the mix, too.

For fans desperate to see the film, we’ve got some good news. Producer Chris Miller (as in, one half of Phil Lord and Chris Miller) has teased on Twitter that a new trailer for Into the Spider-Verse will be dropping soon, much like the emoji spider he employed in his tweet. An exact date still eludes us, but current speculation points to it debuting at this weekend’s New York Comic Con.

The two trailers so far for the animated flick have done a good job of giving a little more away each time. The first one introduced us to Miles (Dope’s Shameik Moore) and teased the mentor role that Peter Parker (New Girl‘s Jake Johnson) will play. The second, one, then dropped Spider-Gwen, voiced by Bumblebee star Hailee Steinfeld, into the mix. With that in mind, we’re crossing our fingers in hopes that we’ll get a glimpse of some of the other alt-Spideys in the new teaser.

And there are certainly some great ones to choose from. Comedian John Mulaney’s bringing Peter Porker AKA Spider-Ham to the big screen (if you’d told us that a few years ago, we’d have thought you were insane), Kimiko Glenn’s portraying Peni Parker and the one and only Nicolas Cage is playing Spider-Man Noir. Again, feel free to pinch yourself to check you’re not dreaming.

That’s still not it for the ridiculously talented cast this film sports, either. Brian Tyler Henry’s Jefferson Davis, Miles’ cop father, while Mahershala Ali is his criminal uncle Aaron AKA the Prowler. Lily Tomlin, meanwhile, is voicing Peter’s Aunt May and, lastly, Liev Scrieber’s on villain duties as Wilson Fisk/the Kingpin.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will swing into cinemas on December 14th.
