Spider-Man Iron Man Avengers: Infinity War

Tom Holland Has Completed His Avengers 4 Reshoots

One of the most heart-wrenching moments in Avengers: Infinity War was the death of Peter Parker, with the young superhero turning to dust in the arms of his mentor Tony Stark thanks to Thanos' finger snap. Even though you'd be hard-pressed to find a Marvel fan who didn't well up during that scene, we know full well that this isn't the end for the web-slinger as we've got Spider-Man: Far From Home coming next year. So, one of the many things Avengers 4 has to do is resurrect Spidey.

Sure enough, evidence suggests that Holland has taken part in the sequel’s reshoots that’ve been filming in Atlanta, Georgia of late. One fan spotted the British actor boarding a plane from the city back to New York, presumably so that he can return to work on Far From Home, as the pic’s said to be shooting its final photography in NYC.

You can see the photo for yourself below:

As one of the second generation of Avengers, Spider-Man’s expected to last in the MCU for a good while yet, alongside other newer heroes like Black Panther and Doctor Strange, both of whom were also wiped out by the Mad Titan’s actions with the Infinity Gauntlet. Obviously, then, their deaths won’t stick and fans have been trying to work out just how the remaining Avengers will reverse the effects of the Snap for months now.

It’s generally assumed that time travel will have something to do with it. All the evidence is pointing to Iron Man, Captain America and the rest utilizing the Quantum Realm, with the help of Ant-Man, to travel across their own timeline to collect the Infinity Stones before Thanos does. With these, they’ll presumably attempt to undo his snap and resurrect the half of the universe that he blinked out of existence.

That doesn’t mean it’s going to be a happy ending all round, however, as it’s also thought that there’ll be some tragic sacrifices – just look at Chris Evans’ ominous, emotional comments he made on social media last week. And besides, Avengers 4 isn’t rumored to be titled Avengers: Annihilation for nothing.
