Creepy Glass Promo Confirms New Trailer For This Week

A creepy new Glass promo has made its way online today to let us know that the next trailer will be here this Thursday. Stay tuned!

Let it be known that M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass is a far cry from your typical superhero movie.

While the likes of Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp are all about straight-laced heroes overcoming near-impossible oddsGlass aims to give us a character study on three superpowered individuals: Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) and David Dunn (Bruce Willis).

But whereas Crumb and Dunn are fiery loose cannons capable of causing mass havoc, it’s Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price who emerges as an “orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.” And we’ll soon get another look at the fascinating dynamic between the three of them in the next Glass trailer, which will drop this Thursday. We know that because the promo below was Tweeted out on the film’s Twitter account earlier today along with the caption: James McAvoy is The Beast. Watch the new trailer for #GlassMovie Thursday.

While some may say this upcoming sequel is nothing more than a Shyamalan-infused gimmick, we’d argue that that’s simply not the case. Glass is absolutely bursting at the seams with potential, with the prospect of exploring the many personalities residing within the mind of Kevin Wendell Crumb a very tantalizing one. In fact, McAvoy told Entertainment Weekly quite recently that “we get to spend some time with some new people that live inside Kevin.”

Written, directed and produced by Shyamalan, Glass is currently penciled in for a January 18th, 2019 release and you can be sure that it’ll kick off the new year in explosive fashion. After all, it’ll be a refreshing change of pace to see a superhero franchise that’s not based on a pre-existing property, which will allow the director far more freedom to do what he wants with his characters.
