There’s a sticky ball rolling its way onto the PlayStation Vita. That may sound strange to some, but not to others who have spent time with Katamari Damacy.

It’s been announced for Sony‘s upcoming handheld, with a new teaser trailer and some screens. It will use Vita’s touchpad to allow players to squeeze and stretch their rolling construction.

Keep in mind that this is only a working title for the game, as Namco Bandai has decided to use a code name close to the series’ roots.

No release date is known, though we’ll stay on top of this one. The Katamari series is one of my personal favourites and I’m super excited for this one.
