Anne Hathaway Shares Story Of Hugh Jackman’s Breakdown On Les Miserables Set

Oh, Hugh Jackman. The Australian and affable individual may have built a career out of playing Marvel's angriest short person (and should have won an Oscar for Logan) and seems to have a sterling reputation, but even he can break down sometimes. At least, that's according to Cinema Blend.

In a new report, the outlet detailed Anne Hathaway’s remarks at a recent award show in Hollywood. Apparently, while working with Jackman on 2012’s Les Miserables, the actor once got frustrated after a long day of work. And let’s just put it this way, he was well … amusingly decent.

“I knew I had to say something so I said, ‘Are you okay man?’ Hugh drew in a ragged, powerful breath, locked his gaze on mine and said through gritted teeth, ‘Annie, it’s a lot.’ That’s it, that’s the worst behavior I have seen from Hugh Jackman.”

That is … really cool. I mean, there are dozens upon dozens of stories of people acting like dicks on film sets (we all remember Christian Bale), so this makes Jackman a rare bird. He can sing, act, dance and be a decent human being apparently. Now we just need to hope he doesn’t get named in any upcoming articles (if you read the gossip website CDAN, some speculate he may be named in a piece on Bryan Singer).

Anyways, when you think about it, it’s kind of humorous that the actor’s apparently so calm in contrast to his most famous character. It’s a bit like Harrison Ford being for gun control or Robert Englund not being an evil demon who appears in dreams.

Of course, Hugh Jackman will be next seen playing Gary Hart in an upcoming film about the former senator, titled The Front Runner. If you’re excited to see it and think he’s an all-around good guy, let us know in the comments section down below.
