Tom Holland Reveals What Happens If He Spoils Avengers 4

Despite Tom Holland’s reputation as a notorious blabbermouth, it’s been a while now since the Spider-Man: Far From Home lead has dropped any major spoilers, suggesting that the actor might finally have learned to watch what he says, if only for fear of what might happen if he makes another mistake.

In a recent exchange with a fan, for example, Holland was asked what’s going to happen in Avengers 4, prompting him to joke in response, “They’ll shoot me!” The fan then posed the more specific question of whether Peter Parker will be coming back to life after his sad fate in Avengers: Infinity War, and Holland insisted once more, “I can’t tell you, they’ll shoot me.”

By ‘they,’ Holland is presumably referring to his bosses at Marvel Studios, who we know to be well aware of the star’s habit of carelessly dropping intel. And since the actor is involved in two of next year’s MCU releases, that creates double the opportunity for problems.

That being said, if what we’re hearing is true about the first trailers for both Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home coming our way in the next few days, then Marvel could be on the verge of easing up just a little on all their excessive spoiler-proofing. Either way, with Sony promoting the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel at this weekends’ CCXP in Brazil, you can expect at least a few reveals to emerge from the event, with the first official image of Peter’s new stealth suit already making its way online.

In any case, Tom Holland only has to keep the Avengers 4 spoilers to himself until the film hits theaters on May 3rd, 2019. After that, Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5th.
