Amidst this crew of Kree warriors, we can see Carol herself in the green version of her trademark helmet. Meanwhile, Jude Law’s looking very serious in his undisclosed role. As it stands, the most popular rumor is that he’s playing Yon-Rogg, in which case he’s a character with real villain potential.

Elsewhere, we see Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, who’s said to have a bit of a rivalry going with her colleague Carol, and for a more familiar face, we have Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, who’ll go on to play a villainous part in the first Guardians outing. As for the other two in this picture, their identities are still to be confirmed, but the white-haired figure is generally thought to be Ultimus, a character whose comic book connections range from Thor to The Eternals.

As the merchandising phase for Captain Marvel gets underway, you can expect plenty more promotional material to make the rounds, though this has already proven to be a pretty generous few weeks when it comes to Carol’s big screen debut. The biggest reveal was no doubt the trailer that dropped near the start of the month, which got the internet feeling more pumped than ever for the interplanetary adventure to come, but the shorter TV spot that came out on Christmas Day didn’t hurt matters, either.

We’ll find out if Carol and her Kree team can live up to the hype when Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8th, 2019.
