Arrow And Legends Will Switch Places On The CW’s Schedule

With the majority of our favorite CW shows soon returning from winter hiatus, the network has decided to give us a glimpse slightly further into the future by unveiling their springtime plans. As you know, there are some series such as Legends of Tomorrow that were put on extended furlough, while others such as iZombie and The 100 tend not to rear their heads until flowers bloom.

For the most part, this won’t disorient the DC TV crowd all that much. Regardless, it’s kind of strange learning that once Legends of Tomorrow does return, it’ll occupy the 8 pm slot on Monday nights. That’s something Arrow‘s done for this entire season – including while Black Lightning fills the 9 pm slot for the next few months – so I’m not sure why the decision for the switcheroo.

Before we proceed further, let’s take a look at the full rundown of spring premiere dates:

Jane the Virgin: Final season premieres Wednesday, March 27 at 9 p.m.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Midseason return on Monday, April 1 at 8 p.m. (Arrow moves to Mondays at 9 p.m.)

In the Dark: Series premiere Thursday, April 4 at 9 p.m.

iZombie: Final season premieres Thursday, May 2 at 8 p.m.

The 100: Returns Tuesday, April 30 at 9 p.m.

You probably noticed that another DC cult hit, iZombie, is taking Supernatural‘s timeslot, but there’s no reason to fear. Don’t forget, that long-running horror series has a reduced episode count of 20 this year, which you can factor in while examining the following finale dates:

Black Lightning: Monday, March 18 at 9 p.m.

All American: Wednesday, March 20 at 9 p.m.

Legacies: Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m.

Supernatural: Thursday, April 25 at 8 p.m.

Roswell, New Mexico: Tuesday, April 23 at 9 p.m.

Before we part ways, be sure to let us know if you mind seeing Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow playing musical chairs on Monday nights this April. Also, feel free to share which spring premiere you’re most anticipating in the usual place below!
