Vision And Scarlet Witch TV Show Said To Be A Psychological Thriller

2019 is set to be a huge year for Marvel’s cinematic output, but in their own way, the franchise’s small screen plans could prove similarly significant. As you may know, the studio intends to kick off a series of Disney Plus shows that focus on major MCU players, the first of which just might be Vision and the Scarlet Witch.

Though details remain vague for the Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen-led project, some alleged plot details recently emerged on 4Chan as part of a larger batch of rumors. And while supposed leaks like these nearly always turn out to be pure fan fiction, MCU Cosmic has at least given the report some credit by claiming that a lot of the post’s allegations actually check out.

In any case, it’s said that the upcoming series will be a psychological thriller in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision try to settle down in the suburbs before things go very wrong when Scarlet Witch tries to give her partner a soul. It’s also claimed that Agatha Harkness – a powerful witch from the comics – might be a villain in the show.

Needless to say, these claims should be taken with the usual pinch of salt, and with Avengers: Endgame not due to come out until April, it could be a few months yet before we get any confirmation on the show’s plot, seeing how Marvel Studios will likely want to keep the respective fates of Scarlet Witch and Vision under wraps.

As it stands, it’s looking pretty inevitable that the Avengers: Infinity War sequel will reverse the effects of the snap that wiped out half the universe – Wanda included – though Vision’s future hasn’t always seemed so certain. You can expect some clarification when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th though, before Vision and the Scarlet Witch comes to Disney Plus later in the year.
