The Bucky Barnes actor appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden alongside Cobie Smulders, where the host asked the pair who in the Marvel camp they hate the most. While Smulders was left a little speechless, Stan didn’t need long to come up with an answer, replying, “Tom Holland, of course.” Though Smulders lamented Stan’s dislike of “sweet, sweet, young Tom Holland,” the Captain America: Civil War star then laid into the actor further, saying he “can’t wait for him to do another movie at sea,” presumably referring to 2015’s In the Heart of the Sea.

This isn’t the first the first time that Stan has taken shots at Holland during a talk show appearance. For another example, the actor brought up the Spider-Man: Far From Home lead when he was asked last year on Jimmy Kimmel Live! which Avengers cast member he least liked working with, decrying the actor as “a problem.”

But whatever conflict there is between the two stars, Stan and Holland’s MCU alter egos are more or less in the same boat right now, having each suffered death by dusting at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Of course, seeing how Bucky and Peter each have future projects lined up – a Disney Plus show for the former and Spider-Man: Far From Home for the latter – there’s a good chance they’ll both be making a comeback when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
