Chris Pratt Says Avengers: Endgame Will Never Be Matched Again In The History Of Cinema

Avengers: Endgame is dealing with high enough expectations already without its cast members hyping the film up further, but in a recent interview with Digital Spy, the Star-Lord actor couldn’t help but heap more praise on Marvel’s Phase 3 finale.

The moment came in the midst of discussing Star-Lord’s famous blunder in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War. Though Pratt agreed that Peter Quill made a big mistake when he failed to keep his cool, he quickly added a little tease of major developments to come in the sequel:

“I think it’s totally true, and I personally feel the same as everyone else about Star-Lord. But I know things, ok? And I feel like audiences are gonna be blown away when this next film comes out.”

Also present in the interview was Pratt’s LEGO Movie 2 co-star Elizabeth Banks, who asked the actor if he thought that forgiveness might be in his character’s future. But while Pratt claimed ignorance on the matter, he argued that Endgame will make the journey worthwhile either way.

“I don’t even know. Even if it’s not, it was worth it, because this is an experience for fans that truly never will be matched again in the history of cinema.”

It must be a little tricky to hype up a movie that you’re allowed to say next-to-nothing about, and for Pratt in particular, the situation is made especially awkward by the fact that his involvement in Endgame hasn’t even been officially confirmed yet.

Nonetheless, it certainly looks like Star-Lord will be making a return in the Russo Brothers’ next film, and while Pratt is in no position to explain what kind of role the Guardians of the Galaxy regular might play in the action, the star isn’t shy about claiming that the movie will be something to behold. No doubt the Avengers: Endgame cast will continue to offer their spoiler-free endorsements until the film hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
