Ventriloquist And Scarface Debut In New Gotham Photos

Even though we're all pretty geeked for what's sure to be a pivotal episode of Gotham airing later this evening, "Ace Chemicals," the time will soon come for us to turn our attention toward next week's installment. And from what we can tell, it'll live up to its title, that being "Nothing's Shocking."

Even though we’re all pretty geeked for what’s sure to be a pivotal episode of Gotham airing later this evening, “Ace Chemicals,” the time will soon come for us to turn our attention toward next week’s installment. And from what we can tell, it’ll live up to its title, that being “Nothing’s Shocking.”

For starters, it features the debut of the Ventriloquist and Scarface, whom we were led to believe were cut from the final season. Then again, executive producer John Stephens and company probably found a way to shoehorn the inseparable duo into the saga once they were granted an additional two episodes.

No matter how you slice it, this is the first time we’re seeing them in live action – and that’s pretty exciting, if you were to ask me. But strangely enough, the actor being used for the Ventriloquist is that of Andrew Sellon, as you can plainly see in the gallery found below. If you’ll recall, he played Mr. Penn, a character killed off not long ago.

Then again, we’re talking about a show known for its surprise resurrections and reveals of twins. Taking that into account, Mr. Penn could already be back from the dead, or we’ll soon meet his sibling. If neither of those scenarios pan out, he could simply have a lookalike in town named Arnold Wesker.

For more on “Nothing’s Shocking,” be sure to check out the official synopsis:

Bullock’s past comes back to haunt him when he and Gordon investigate two murders at Sirens. Meanwhile, Bruce and Alfred explore the tunnels beneath the city, and Penguin and Nygma’s plans to escape are thwarted by the least likely of suspects in the all-new “Nothing’s Shocking” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Feb. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Gotham airs on Thursday nights on Fox.
