Rob Zombie continues to tease new details from the upcoming Three From Hell, taking to Instagram over the weekend to reveal what he claims to be one of many “bizarre cameos” to feature in the sequel to 2005’s The Devil’s Rejects.

The latest still shared by the director seems to be taken from a TV news interview, with a microphone visible in the bottom-left corner. Between this new image, the #freethethree hashtag that Zombie keeps using, and the “Free Baby” t-shirt that Sheri Moon Zombie is wearing in set photos, it looks like the media could play an important part in Three From Hell, and the titular trio may even garner some public support as they go on trial.

As for who the man in the photo is, Zombie’s caption has the answer:

“Recognize this man? It’s Chaz Bono @therealchazbono . One of the many bizarre cameos in THREE FROM HELL.”

Though the son of Cher and Sonny Bono might be best known for his LGBT rights activism and his heavily publicized female-to-male gender transition, Chaz Bono also has some acting experience under his belt, including a supporting role in the American Horror Story season Cult.

In any case, it doesn’t sound like Bono will have a lot of screen time in Zombie’s latest feature, with the main focus likely to be on returning Devil’s Rejects leads Otis, Baby and Captain Spaulding, played by Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, and Sid Haig, respectively. So far, it’s unclear how the psychotic trio survived the barrage of bullets at the end of their last movie, but maybe we’ll get some clarification when Three From Hell comes out later in the year. In the meantime, we’re still waiting for that release date to drop.
