New Fan Poster Features Every Marvel Cinematic Universe Character To Date

Avengers: Endgame star Scarlett Johansson recently described the upcoming film as a “beautiful Valentine to a decade of madness.” But as we wait to find out if Marvel’s Phase 3 finale can live up to this praise, Reddit user Joel_Tempero has shared a new piece of fan art that seems worthy of the same description.

As you can see, the image manages to cram in just about every noteworthy character from the MCU’s first three phases. Needless to say, it’s a very busy picture, but there’s also a structure to the collage that’s based around the theme of the six Infinity Stones. It’s a fitting choice, seeing how these half-dozen MacGuffins have driven the overarching narrative of the saga for the last eleven years.

Many of the characters even seem aligned with the stones they’re most associated with, from the two Captains in the blue Space Stone region, to Vision and Ultron in the yellow Mind Stone part, while Doctor Strange stands between them in the green Time Stone section. Meanwhile, stood front row and center behind the Marvel Studios logo is the late Stan Lee.

Just as Tempero’s artwork manages to pack a lot of familiar faces into one image, you can expect Avengers: Endgame to juggle a whole load of noteworthy characters across its runtime. Along with the current line-up for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, evidence suggests that the Avengers: Infinity War sequel will see the reemergence of quite a few supporting players from previous Marvel movies, some of whom were thought to have died years ago.

Time travel has long been the most popular theory for how Avengers: Endgame will pull off this nostalgia trip, but all will be revealed when the film hits theaters on April 26th.
