Avengers: Endgame Has More Big Spoiler Moments Than Infinity War

The Russo Brothers have confirmed that next month's Avengers: Endgame will have more big spoiler moments than Infinity War.

Heed this warning: you’ll want to see Avengers: Endgame as quickly as possible. A midnight showing, perhaps, or an early morning matinee on the 26th… anything to protect yourself from the inevitable tide of spoilers. Because there will be spoilers.

Indeed, according to Joe and Anthony Russo, there are more big spoiler moments hidden within Endgame than there was in Infinity War, which is really saying something when you reflect back on Marvel’s 2018 juggernaut.

It’s no wonder the Russo Brothers employed faux trailer scenes and other misdirects to throw us off the scent, and it appears they’ve called upon a similar strategy while marketing Endgame and its unmissable (three-hour?) showdown. And for good reason, as Joe Russo tells Box Office Pro that there will be plenty of spoiler-sensitive moments packed into Endgame‘s super-sized runtime.

Yeah, we do feel that way. At a certain point, I’m sure we’ll write another letter this year that asks everyone to stay off the internet. I think this one has even more spoilers than the last one. This is a culture that wants everything now, and it’s getting worse. The world is connected via social media, and information travels within seconds. If you’ve been following along with this narrative for 10 years, you’re going to want to protect yourself. It’s best to go in clean. I encourage people to go opening weekend because I’m sure everything is going to hit the internet the moment the movie hits the screen.

Frankly, we’re not surprised. Avengers: Endgame brings the curtain down on this current era of tentpole MCU movies. So as Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Black Panther and Doctor Strange are prepped to be the next generation, the Russo Brothers now face the somewhat difficult task of concluding an arc which began with 2008’s Iron Man movie.

Whatever the outcome, Endgame will be a special movie for many reasons, and if you’re reading this, we imagine you don’t need any encouragement to go see the MCU’s 22nd film on the big screen – chances are you’ll be there opening weekend.
