First 5 Minutes Of American Horror Story Are Creepy

Of all the new shows that are premiering this fall, it's easy to say that FX's American Horror Story is looking to be my absolute favorite. Stemming from the minds of Glee and Nip/Tuck creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, this new series, set to premiere on Wednesday at 10, brings the story of a family moving into a haunted house to the small screen. I've been dying to see how a horror story could translate from the silver screen to the small screen, but by the looks of the first 5 minutes of the premiere, viewers have nothing to worry about.

Of all the new shows that are premiering this fall, it’s easy to say that FX‘s American Horror Story is looking to be my absolute favorite. Stemming from the minds of Glee and Nip/Tuck creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, this new series, set to premiere on Wednesday at 10, brings the story of a family moving into a haunted house to the small screen. I’ve been dying to see how a horror story could translate from the silver screen to the small screen, but by the looks of the first 5 minutes of the premiere, viewers have nothing to worry about.

Although the clip doesn’t feature any of the core actors (Connie Britton, Dylan McDermott, Denis O’Hare, and Jessica Lange amongst others), it is still quite captivating. On display is a sequence involving two young boys tearing apart the house before finding a few creepy items in the basement. But instead of having me tell you, why don’t you just check it out for yourself?

Have fun with the first 5 minutes of American Horror Story:

American Horror Story will premiere on FX on Wednesday, October 5.
