Russo Brothers Still Putting The Final Touches On Avengers: Endgame

Though April 26th is right around the corner, Joe and Anthony Russo are still in the process of applying the final touches to Avengers: Endgame.

We are, at the time of writing, 25 days (and counting!) away from the global release of Avengers: Endgame. And don’t we know all about it…

All four corners of the Internet are teeming with conspiracies and MCU-related plot points dating back to 2008, as curious fans attempt to solve the riddle that is Avengers: Endgame. And while most, if not all, of the legwork is already done and dusted, it seems Joe and Anthony Russo are still applying the final touches to what is undoubtedly Marvel’s most ambitious movie yet. Which is really saying something when you consider that 2018 served up the equally epic Avengers: Infinity War.

Word comes to us by way of Pursue News, though it’s worth keeping in mind that this last-minute ‘editing’ really concerns the VFX of Endgame, and which shots (if any) still need to be approved. The finish line is in sight, then, and the countdown to April 26th has well and truly begun.

For a blockbuster of this scope, it’s no wonder Joe and Anthony Russo are still dotting the Is and crossing the Ts. It’s also a common occurrence for Marvel Studios, given Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 wasn’t signed, sealed and delivered until the beginning of April – just a few days before its global rollout.

So fear not; Avengers: Endgame is still right around the corner, and with it all the eye-popping spectacle we’ve come to expect from a Marvel movie. Given the enormous, sky-high stakes, there’ll also be a fair amount of emotion, too, as we prepare to say goodbye to some of the MCU’s best-loved characters. We know the original six – namely Iron Man, Cap, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye – are mounting a counter-attack against Thanos. But who, if anyone, will survive?
