Batman is good. He’s a man that exudes justice and all things right. Catwoman is not, she steals from people. Dax Ginn, marketing game manager at Rocksteady, says they included Catwoman into Batman: Arkham City for a reason.

Ginn tells Joystiq that Catwoman was included because  “It’s not always fun being the righteous arm of justice, so we wanted to explore what it was like to be a criminal within Arkham City, as well. Catwoman became a great option to explore that.”

He goes on to say “We look around at some other games and it’s obvious that some players like breaking the rules.”

In an open world game such as Batman: Arkham City, probably one of the best aspects is how fun it is to break the rules and just go crazy. After all, how often can you run around the rooftops of a bustling city and crack guys in the head or steal valuable jewels? Not very often, which is why I’m 100% behind the choice to include Catwoman.

Batman: Arkham City releases on North American shores on October 18.

What say you, gamers? Who wants to be bad?
