Spider-Man Far From Home

New Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Will Have Avengers: Endgame Spoilers

As much as I loved Avengers: Endgame, I must confess something: I enjoyed the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home more than anything hyping Earth's Mightiest Heroes' latest cinematic outing. Now, that doesn't mean the wall-crawler's next solo adventure will wind up being better, but that tells you I still have great confidence in it.

Hopefully some True Believers out there share my optimism, as another trailer for Webhead’s new movie is expected to drop very soon. Marvel Studios were understandably holding off on releasing more footage until Endgame was in the rear-view mirror, and now we’re getting a better understanding as to why.

According to Trailer Track, the next trailer will start off with Tom Holland warning us that Endgame spoilers are sure to follow. They say this information has been confirmed due to the video being sent out to German cinemas this week, further cementing that the promo will hit the net very shortly.

If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say there’s some bit of dialogue contained within discussing the death of Iron Man. Seeing as how Tony Stark was Peter Parker’s mentor in a sense, you’d better believe that Spidey will be among those most deeply affected by the most heroic sacrifice in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For some other possible hints, we’ll refer you to the recent words of Joe Russo:

“Yes, those people whom was lucky to survive the snap are 5 years older than the people who just got back,” Russo explained in a recent Q&A. “The reason Spider-Man saw his friend again in high school at the end was simply because his friends were unfortunately also dusted like Spider-Man was. Of course, there are people in his grade whom didn’t die and they are probably already in colleges by now.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in theaters on July 2nd.
