If the quality of 2017’s Homecoming weren’t enough to assure that I’ll be buying a ticket to see Spider-Man: Far From Home in a couple of months, the fact that it’s the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to follow Avengers: Endgame also lends a ton of appeal. After all, the passing of Webhead’s mentor, Tony Stark, is sure to impact the narrative.
If that weren’t enough, we can also look forward to Peter Parker traveling outside of New York City, which is something you don’t really get to see in his solo flicks. As such, True Believers everywhere are likely wondering where he’ll wind up, and now we’re able to confirm that Peter will do enough globe-hopping to make even James Bond blush.
Here’s what Collider has learned about the movie’s structure, which subsequently reveals the various stops the wall-crawler will make:
The structure of the movie is a bit of a road trip. The film begins in Mexico in the aftermath of an elemental’s attack. Then we go to New York City to meet up with Peter. Then the action moves to Venice where Peter is recruited by Nick Fury. Then they move to the Alps in Switzerland where Peter tries to make Brad look bad but it blows up in his face. Then the action moves to Prague where they fight Molten Man and then on to Berlin and then a small Dutch village. The climax of the movie will be in London.
For such a young hero, Spider-Man sure is racking up his share of frequent flyer miles, isn’t he?
From the sound of it, Spidey will don a handful costumes throughout the adventure, with a good amount of time being spent inside that awesome new stealth suit. And if you’re a collector, this certainly bodes well for you because that means several new action figures will be added to your shelf before long.
Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in theaters on July 2nd.
