Thor And Beta Ray Bill May Meet In Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

We know that Beta Ray Bill definitely exists in the MCU, as the Korbinite's unmistakable equine face was carved into the Grandmaster's tower in Thor: Ragnarok, but the alien hero has yet to make his debut on screen. This is expected to change, though, very soon as rumors point to him appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. What's more, he might encounter his close comic book ally Thor in the threequel, too.

A new MCU leak has landed on 4Chan which apparently drops some teases for what’s to come in Phase Four. The original post has since been deleted but Reddit user EddytheMartian has shared the info on the Marvel Studios Spoilers subreddit. One juicy “leaked” detail is that Thor and Bill will both appear in Guardians 3 and will possibly cross paths for the first time in the franchise.

We’ve previously heard that Bill will appear in the upcoming film, but apparently, we should only expect him to play a small role. This makes sense given all the other characters who are believed to show up, including Adam Warlock, Quasar, Moondragon and Lylla. It also suggests there’ll be more for him to do in the MCU later down the line, perhaps in that Lady Sif TV show.

As for Thor, fans have been desperate to know if the God of Thunder will continue to be an “Asgardian of the Galaxy” after he hitched a ride on the Benatar in Avengers: EndgameChris Hemsworth himself is up for the opportunity, while another leak has suggested that Marvel want him in the movie to keep his brand recognition alive, as Thor 4 won’t arrive for a while.

In any case, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is thought to start shooting next year, ahead of a release in 2021, so expect more concrete info on whether Thor and Beta Ray Bill will appear in due course.
