Awesome New Art Brings Together Your Favorite Sherlock Holmes Actors

A handful of Sherlock Holmes actors (including a few familiar faces from the MCU) have been assembled for one awesome piece of fan art.

We don’t think we’ll see the beginning of a Sherlock Cinematic Universe anytime soon, but the concept has sparked the idea of one talented graphic artist. If you’ve delved into the world of fan art at any point, you may have come across the work of BossLogic, who specializes in designs related to major film franchises. He’s been praised by the community for his quality work, and he’s even gotten a shout-out from none other than Mysterio himself.

In the past week alone, BossLogic has released a handful of great concept pieces on his Instagram page, profiling everything from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Canada Day, and a rather cheeky piece that replaces Bradley Cooper with Rocket Raccoon, pairing him alongside Lady Gaga on a poster for A Star Is Born. He also shared another creation, which is bound to resonate with fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous character.

For this particular work of art, BossLogic envisioned a film that stars three Sherlock Holmes actors, coming together for one movie he dubs “Sherlock Homies.” Fans will, of course, recognize Robert Downey Jr., who, aside from taking on the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man, has played the world’s greatest detective twice on the big screen.

Moving over to TV, Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch (aka Doctor Strange) is present and accounted for, and it looks like Henry Cavill has also made the cut, as he’s set to star in 2020’s Enola Holmes, which features Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown as the detective’s younger sister.

In a rather hilarious move, BossLogic has also thrown in Will Ferrell for good measure, presumably referencing the absolutely horrible Holmes & WatsonBy the grace of awful reviews and an abysmal box office performance, we won’t be seeing a sequel anytime soon, but we’re still holding out hope that the fifth season of BBC’s Sherlock could make up for the middling fourth.
