The latest outing in the street racing-turned-action heist franchise doesn’t even have an official title yet, but it does boast a very impressive cast, including newcomer John Cena. As exciting as the addition of the beloved wrestler-turned-actor is though, a lot of people are more curious about which familiar faces we may see and while most of the usual suspects are all expected to return, Vin Diesel has now confirmed two more.

Taking to Instagram, the star announced that both Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren will be back to reprise their roles. The latter originally showed up as the villain in The Fate of the Furious, playing a cyberterrorist named Cipher who’s expected to get her own spinoff at some point as well.

Mirren, meanwhile, also appeared in Fate, taking on the role of Owen and Deckard Shaw’s mom, a part she’ll soon reprise in the aforementioned Hobbs & Shaw. How, exactly, her and Theron will factor into Fast and Furious 9 remains to be seen, but it’s nice to know they’ll be involved regardless and their inclusion only gives us more to get excited about when it comes to the next mainline entry in the series.

Plot details for Fast and Furious 9 are still being kept under lock and key, but we imagine it’ll offer up another welcome dose of high-octane thrills and over the top set pieces when it roars into theaters on May 22nd, 2020. Until then, watch this space for further updates as we’ll bring them to you as soon as they arise.
