New Zombieland: Double Tap Poster Hypes You For The Sequel

After much demand from the fans and more than a couple false starts, Zombieland: Double Tap is now on its way to theaters and the promotional campaign is getting ready to kick off. We haven't really seen much from it so far, but it looks like that's all about to change as even though Sony wasn't at Comic-Con, they still decided to give us a little glimpse of the sequel in the form of this new poster.

After much demand from the fans and more than a couple false starts, Zombieland: Double Tap is now on its way to theaters and the promotional campaign is getting ready to kick off. We haven’t really seen much from it so far, but it looks like that’s all about to change as even though Sony wasn’t at Comic-Con, they still decided to give us a little glimpse of the sequel in the form of this new poster.

Seen in the gallery down below, it’s not much and doesn’t even feature any of the main characters, but again, it’s a sure sign that things are gearing up to get underway and if recent reports are any indication, then we may be getting the first trailer pretty soon. But before that, the one-sheet we have for you here should be enough to whet the appetite for what’s undoubtedly one of 2019’s most anticipated films.

From what we know so far, Zombieland: Double Tap will see the gang living in the White House before they embark on a journey that’ll bring a couple of new zombie types into the franchise which have seemingly evolved over the years. Along the way, they’ll also come across a “female zombie-hunting badass named Nevada,” played by Rosario Dawson, while Jesse Eisenberg’s Columbus will be caught up with a new love interest named Madison, played by Zoey Deutch.

Unfortunately, the plot details we have end there, but with Ruben Fleischer once again at the helm, and a script written by Zombieland and Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, at least we know the project’s in good hands. And hopefully, we’ll get a look at what this team’s cooked up for us soon enough. After all, with Zombieland: Double Tap set for release on October 11th, it shouldn’t be too much longer now before the first footage lands online, right?
