Gran Turismo 5 fanatics will have to wait another seven days before they’ll be able to download its first large downloadable content expansion. Polyphony Digital (a studio which certainly isn’t a stranger when it comes to delays,) has officially pushed the pack’s North American release back to October 25, from its originally scheduled release date of October 18. Perhaps we could just say that it’ll be released a week from today, but that would be too easy.
As an apology present, Sony will be including a special bonus with the downloadable content install file, though there’s no word on what it will be. Based on what we do know thus far, Gran Turismo 5 racers can look forward to downloading the entire pack as one twelve dollar purchase, or in selective parts. There will be tracks, cars, racing gear and paint jobs to pick from.
