That said, I imagine you’ve been able to single out a favorite scene of your own, or at least pare down the more memorable moments to a very short list. If not, then that’s also understandable, because the film did clock in at around three hours in length.

Though Tony Stark’s funeral near the end may not take the cake for me, it was beautifully executed, and I understand why a percentage of moviegoers couldn’t help shedding tears. With so many major players from around the Marvel Cinematic Universe gathered in one spot, it assisted in giving Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man a fitting end.

According to Kevin Feige himself though, one other character almost made the cut, as he revealed the following while speaking with Empire:

“We did at one point toy with putting Cassie there. At one point we thought of digitally adding her so it’s the family, but we thought, ‘This is the heroes celebrating the other heroes and the loss of Tony’, so we didn’t do it. Aside from Smart Hulk and Rocket and Groot, everybody’s actually standing there.”

In case you were wondering, he’s referring to Cassie Lang, daughter of Scott Lang AKA Ant-Man. And while it would’ve been kind of cool seeing her there as well, she’s not exactly anywhere close to being in Tony Stark’s inner circle – or even on the fringe of it, for that matter.

Still, her inclusion in the flick was something else, as her reunion with her father was quite emotional. Though neither were victimized by Thanos’ snap, Scott was trapped in the Quantum Realm for a handful of years. But fortunately for them both, they came together yet again.

You can relive these moments and many others when Avengers: Endgame arrives on Blu-ray on August 13th.
