I’m pretty sure I’m not the only human being in the world who thought Steel Battalion was awesome. It was literally a game that required a card-table for you to play it. Put simply, it had a controller with four separate parts. There was the main hub, the stick shift, the other panel, and a clutch/foot pedal attachment.

Why did they all exist? So you could pilot a massive tank. Not to be outdone by its past self, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor has just made it perfectly clear that it will also be confusing to control. According to this super sweet gameplay video, this game will require Kinect and a controller.

The controls are actually fairly simple in concept. If you’re in the tank, you use the Kinect to move around. If you’re controlling the tank, you use the Xbox 360 controller. The actual controls are yet to be announced, but I can guarantee you one thing about this game: It’s going to be different from anything else, ever.
