Louis Leterrier’s Now You See Me is shaping up to be quite the film as it is but to further excite things, today it was announced that Michael Caine will be joining the cast.
Moviehole, who broke the news, also gave shoot dates and locations for the film which are as follows: January 16, 2012 to March 26, 2012 in New Orleans, and New York. This seems accurate as Melanie Laurent, who stars in Now You See Me is set to start filming Billie August’s adaptation of Night Train To Lisbon in late March.
Now You See Me will of also reunite Caine with his Batman co-star Morgan Freeman in the film, which details “FBI agents tracking a team of illusionists who pull of bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money.”
Now You See Me stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Melanie Laurent, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Dave Franco and will be in cinemas on January 18th, 2013.
