The other day Mickey Rourke announced that he dropped out of Martin McDonagh‘s Seven Psychopaths. Today it was revealed that Rourke has been replaced by Woody Harrelson.
Harrelson will be playing Charlie, “a psychopathic gangster” who is described as someone that is “unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn’t think twice about killing anyone.”
The film revolves around Marty, played by Colin Farrell, who “is a screenwriter that becomes involved with the dog-stealing plot as a way of gaining inspiration for his script.”
Furthermore, it has been announced that Olga Kurylenko and Tom Waits have also joined the project, however no information is known about their roles.
Seven Psychopaths stars Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Olga Kurylenko and Tom Waits and will be released in late 2012
