Entourage star Jerry Ferrara is the latest actor to board the supernatural flight in CBS Films’ upcoming movie 7500. He’s set to portray Rick in the ensemble cast, which also includes Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Christian Serratos and Scout Taylor-Compton.

Deadline is reporting that 7500 chronicles a supernatural force that follows a group of passengers onto a transpacific flight. Kwanten and Smart will play married couple who embark on Vista Pacific Flight 7500 for a trip to Japan with two of their friends. Serratos stars as Raquel Mendoza, a passenger who boards the plane after sharing a secret with her boyfriend.

Jacinta Beckett, who has a unique perspective on death, will be portrayed by Taylor-Compton and Bibb is set to play stewardess Laura Baxter, who’s involved in a secret, complicated relationship. Joining Laura as a flight attendant is Suzy Lee, played by Chung, who is newly-engaged.

The supernatural thriller, which is set to hit theaters on August 31, 2012, will be helmed by The Grudge and Marebito director Takashi Shimizu.

While the premise of 7500 isn’t entirely unique, the addition of Ferrara to the already appealing cast should help make the film intriguing enough to see.
