New Set Photos From The Great Gatsby

As Baz Luhrmann‘s adaptation of The Great Gatsby beings to wrap up with only a couple of weeks left, some new set photos have surfaced. The photos depict Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire in formal 1920’s attire.

The scene depicted seems to be the Gatsby’s house party, which Daisy and Tom Buchanan are invited to. We once again see the spectacular costumes on display, which will surely be in contention for an Oscar next year. So far everything we have seen from the set seems fantastic and it really looks like a strong replica of 1920’s New York, even though the film is being shot in Sydney, Australia.

The Great Gatsby stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Elizabeth Debicki, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke, and will hit theaters on Christmas 2012.
